The rapid development of science and technology can become capital to encourage the progress of Muslim countries.
In 2001, IIFTIHAR published a number of scientific journals to collect the best references in the field of science and technology which it was hoped could be implemented in the Islamic world.
THE INDONESIA AL AZHAR UNIVERSITY
The progress of the Islamic world is determined by the existence of Muslim scholars who are able to maintain a balance of mastery of science technology and iman taqwa.
In 2000, IIFTIHAR was actively involved in supporting the establishment of The Indonesia Al Azhar University in Jakarta, Indonesia. It is hoped that the university can become a model of higher education based on science technology and iman taqwa.
DIGITAL LIBRARY FOR ISLAMIC SCHOOL
Literacy is one of the skills that the 21st century generation needs to have. The skill need to be built through various educational institutions, including Islamic schools.
In 2024, IIFTIHAR will take the initiative to provide a digital library with thousands of book collections for Islamic schools in Indonesia. The number of schools will continue to increase over time.
iMASJID - THE MASJID NETWORK
In the era of Rasulullah SAW, masjid was the center of civilization. Inspired by this, in 2017 IIFTIHAR initiated iMasjid, an online platform of masjid network to empower ummah on Islamic knowledge, education, health, and economic development.
This initiative became the forerunner of My Istiqlal, an online platform of the national masjid of Indonesia.
OIC SATELLITE PROJECT
The existence of internet connectivity is one of the important things to improve the quality of education, health, economy, and public services in various countries. For this reason, in 2016, IIFTIHAR initiated a satellite project to equalize the internet access in all countries of the Islamic world, especially in the Middle East and Africa.
This initiative had to be stopped due to the Covid-19 pandemic and the significant revolution of satellite technology.
WAQF BUILDING
The value of waqf from Muslims throughout the world continues to increase every year. This should be able to bring sustainable impact if the waqf is used for productive things.
In 2015, IIFTIHAR initiated the establishment of the Waqf Building in Jakarta, Indonesia. This Waqf Building is planned to be built entirely with waqf principles and is expected to become a great symbol of the implementation of productive waqf.
